Paul Pogba removed from French Squad after testing Positive for Covid-19

As confirmed by France’s head coach Didier Deschamps, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has gotten a positive result after testing for Covid-19 virus.

The 27-year-old world cup winner was expecting to join France’s National football team for their upcoming matches against Sweden and Croatia in September. According to coach Deschamps, he had to make a change to the team at the last minute. Pogba was tested on August 26th and the positive result returned on August 27.

Paul was pictured out and about with his pregnant wife and others over the weekend at a restaurant, See photo below.

Paul’s French teammate Tanguy Ndombele also has the virus and both are currently self-isolating.
