Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Mocked Online For Getting “Cheap Seats” at the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ Premiere – Watch Video

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s appearance at the Bob Marley: One Love premiere is again stirring conversations online with the release of a new video that shows them being seated in ‘average seats’.
Their headlining attendance at the red carpet event had previously garnered criticism from British critics who labelled their attendance as “insensitive.” This critique arose in light of King Charles and Princess Kate’s ongoing health issues and Jamaica’s aim to break away from the British monarchy.
Now, there is a new wave of criticism after the 39-year-old Prince was seen looking a bit puzzled when he and his wife were ushered to seats that were three rows from the front. The seats, as social media users have mockingly indicated, were not befitting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
On January 23, while Harry was rocking a classy navy blue suit with the jacket open to show off his white shirt underneath, Megan was elegantly dressed in a black dress. After being shown their seat, 42-year-old Meghan had to gather her dress and sit in one of the snug chairs as Harry sat next to her.

This racked up mocking commentaries as people joked about them dressing too fancy for where they were seated and questioned if the prime minister (who was captured in a photo with the couple on the red carpet) was in a similar seat or if he had gotten VIP seating, as well as mocking the pair for falling far down the social ladder to the “D-list.”
“Interesting choice of outfit for the venue,” one commenter said. Another wrote, “Overdressed and sitting in cheap seats… Where was Jamacian PM sitting?”
