R-Kelly is set to go back to court two times next year, for his pending cases of Child pornography and bribery, as well as Trafficking and Racketeering.
The Judge presiding over the cases are Harry Leinenweber, who announced that the R&B singer will need to return to court in April 2021 and specifically on September 13, of the same year.
Former members of R-Kelly’s management team, Derrel Mcdavid, and Milton Brown are also to stand trial with the entertainer.
The case of child pornography and Bribery, that will be handled in September includes accusations from way back in 2008, of the singer trying to clear his name by offering 6 figure payments and gifts to the jury.
The advent of the Coronavirus is the real reason behind the court delaying trial, and due to the current situation of the pandemic, there is also no surety that these new dates are set in stone.
