Reggae Boy ‘Je-Vaughn Watson’ A.K.A Haka 15 Releases “Badness Guh” Music Video

Veteran Reggae Boyz midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson has continued his dancehall journey with his newly released music video and single Badness Guh.

The St. Catherine native made his national debut with the Reggae Boyz in 2008 and spent six years playing for the Clarendon-based football club Sporting Central Academy in the Jamaica National Premier League before moving to the men’s professional soccer league, Major League Soccer (MLS), in the United States. Watson began his international career with Houston Dynamo, helping them reach two MLS Cups.

Traded to FC Dallas in 2013, the midfielder went on to play for New England Revolution, OKC Energy FC, and Austin Bold FC before returning to Jamaica to play for Humble Lions. After a lengthy absence, he returned to the national team as a surprise recall in the Boyz’ 2021 World Cup qualification campaign.

Watson, who goes by the stage name Haka 15, released the music video for his new single, Badness Guh, on Saturday, and the Johnny Wonder distributed project has since garnered over 61,000 views on Youtube. The footballer-turned-artiste has released several singles over the past few years.

In April, he released the music videos for his songs Licence Gun and his party track Cups Up, which audio was initially released in 2020. In 2021, he released Vaccine, a song in which the entertainer expressed his frustrations with the restrictions placed on Jamaica due to COVID-19 and the socio-economic struggles in the country during the pandemic.
