The musician is said to be from the community of retirement, Granville where the Police went to conduct a search on Don J1’s house based on a warrant they got on Saturday.

It is understood that the search was executed at approximately 6:30 am, whereafter an alleged 9 mm Pistol was found along with 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition, under “Don J1” bed. This led to Don J1 later being arrested and then slapped with the charges of the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

A video showing the police searching the Studio Engineer’s room also went viral, and in the footage, Don J1’s alleged sister can be heard telling the officers that her brother has no gun, and is a hardworking man who has his kids.

Unfortunately for the woman claiming to be Don J1’s sister, the Police seemed to not have cared one bit about her expressions as they kept on asking for the gun while ransacking the room they were searching and telling the female heard in the video to “Tap e noise”.
