Rushane Barnett Charged With Murder
As reported by the JCF and Deputy Superintendent of Police Fitz Bailey moments ago, Rushane Barnett has been charged with five counts of murder.
The 23-year-old who is a relative of the victims was charged after he gave a caution statement to the police.
Barnet was charged with the killing of his cousin Kimesha Wright and her four children. The gruesome incident took place in the community of Cocoa Piece, Clarendon on Tuesday, June 21 at about 7:50 a.m., all of the victims’ throats were slashed.
A court date is yet to be set for Barnett.
