The ‘trap king, Dancehall baddeest ting’ Rygin King returns with an upbeat song and eye-catching music video, one week after being arrested in New York on gun possession charges. The new release is titled ‘Drop The Top‘ and is a track off his Recovery album.
Days ago the deejay took to social media to ask media personnel and Jamaicans to focus on his musical deeds instead of negativity. This new release is seemingly an effort to get people to talk about his music.
It’s a witty song about his flashy lifestyle with lyrics such as, “Pull out the Benz drop the top, clean off and speedoff dawg mi si dem a watch…. dwg dem a duh real braff… all a mi jewellery dem real… got money like seh wi ship keys.”
The music video was shot in America and features the Montego Bay artiste rolling around in the passenger seat of a drop-top vehicle while two video vixens dance in the back seat.
The visuals also show Rygin King hanging out with his associates around some high-end vehicles in a nighttime scene.
One fan of the deejay watched the new music video and commented, “Believe one king pull d benz drop eh top hits song this no joke,” another person stated, “Dancehall BADDEST TING FOREVER.”
