Sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is constantly working hard to support rising athletes with their sporting pursuits through her charitable organisation, the Pocket Rocket Foundation.
A post online featuring pictures of Fraser-Pryce with members of the Olympic Garden Football Club highlights her unwavering commitment to enhancing sports in Jamaica.
In the pictures, the three-time Olympic champion is donating Nike football boots and drawstring bags to the football players. In one of the images, she is signing a player’s boots, and others capture her speaking to the members of the Olympic Garden Football Club, posing with the team, and seemingly dancing at one point.
Photos also show the players trying on their new footwear and juggling the football.
Fraser-Pryce shared the Facebook post on Wednesday with a short message expressing gratitude to her supporters, stating, “It takes a great deal of effort, time and financial resources in order to run an efficient community-based sports program, without sponsorship this task is extremely difficult.”
