Shenseea Bio: Before The Big Break

Shenseea is aware that she has a lot to learn about the music business, she knows she needs to implement strategies for proper marketing and development and she wants to help herself. Romeich has been one of the persons who has been encouraging her as he sees her potential. She was first hired as one of his signature promotion girls. She started off working very hard doing promotions and recording at Romeich Entertainment headquarters when she is able to.

Shenseea had decided that she would learn all she can about the business and she is inspired whenever she watches MTV Jamz and MTV. Her favorite artistes are Whitney Houston, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Buju Banton and others.

However, she remembers how shy she was in the past, she sang one of Whitney’s songs in a church and ran away when she started crying, but she realized that there were persons there who loved her voice and went back there to sing and joined the choir and developed her range.

She didn’t start thinking of being serious about being an artiste until she signed with Romeich she started looking at her opportunities and using them well. The job of promoting brands like Hennessey, Smirnoff, Magnum and Red Stripe at some of the elite events in Jamaica has become an opportunity to launch her career and she is able to showcase her talent and build an eager fan following.

Her debut single “Jiggle Jiggle” was recorded in 2016 and it was popular all over the island, but she is recording new songs every day in the studio.

The song that she recorded with Vybz Kartel “Loodi” was another one of her hits. This has caused her to get attention from persons in the media.

Shenseea is finding new pathways to reach her goal even though she had a setback in the past. Romeich has been guiding her and she is now ranked among the top 10 artistes in Jamaica. She trusts in God and she is staying focused as she works hard to achieve her goals.
