Silk Boss Drops ‘Rocky Road’ Music Video

Making the best of a bad situation, Silk Boss utilised his vocal talent to turn one of his many controversial moments into a song about the hardships of life.

The song Rocky Road, released hours ago, is named after a viral Instagram Live stream in which viewers assumed he was driving an old car, and he lashed out, telling them that he was on a rocky road.

Rephrasing the words that made him an object of ridicule, Silk Boss sits in an old building, writing as he sings about no one knowing the pain he feels on the rocky road he is travelling.

“Dem nuh know how mi feel, fi have eh matic pon mi belly a bleach, inna bush fi weeks, a run from police, cause if dem ketch mi dawg, a dung a morgue mi reach,” he sings in the video that is embellished by lit candles.

He subsequently sings about seeing his friend die and the deep scar he has in his heart.

In the second verse, he sings about elevating from nothing to something, as well as from having an old car with a shaky “rack and pin” to owning a Benz.

The single is a collaborative effort between Dynasty Entertainment Group and Ice Queen Records, and it is distributed by Hapilos.
