Singer Tyla Visits Jamaica

Adding to the long list of celebrities who have ventured onto the shores of Jamaica, hit singer Tyla has also found her way here.

The 21-year-old South African singer, born Tyla Laura Seethal, has become a hit sensation with her recent single, Water. The catchy dancing tune has not only taken over the airwaves but also social media, with her “water dance” becoming a huge TikTok trend.

Tyla posted a series of photos and videos on her Instagram page with the Jamaican flag as her caption and the location being tagged as “Jamaica”.

Most of the pictures from the young artiste seemed to be taken on a beach somewhere in Jamaica with Tyla wearing a brown ruffled skirt and a top of the same colour. Her braided hair extended in crimped waves down her back as she posed, hands out with a big smile on her face and two others with her looking directly at the camera. There was also a blurry picture of her in a grey dress with her back to the camera.

She also posted two videos, one highlighting the scenery of Jamaica featuring the vegetation and a gentle breeze, and another gave a sample of her famous dance move.

After viewing her posts, her fans gushed over her appearance and even compared her to Rihanna saying, “Shes going to be Big as Rihanna or even bigger. Once her team keep It clean. Cos shes africa Next Rihanna.” Terri-Karelle also welcomed her to Jamaica while others asked her to visit their country as well.
