YouTube vlogger Sir P was called out by Shawn Storm’s sister in an affidavit as one of the reasons why the artiste will be unable to secure a fair retrial in the Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams murder case. Sir P, who is anonymous, is the vlogger for the popular Politricks Watch YouTube Channel.

In response to these allegations, Sir P stated “The day is here, long predicted…mi tell unuh say him agguh go from the angle… you know the case too public so the fair trial, all this has been predicted.” He also pointed out the holes in the argument that the trial is too public.

Sir P said that by the same merit, saying a YouTuber’s opinions can taint the jury, it can be interpreted the same way when other people of influence publicly proclaim that the accused are innocent. “Surely they not saying that the learned judge is relying on YouTube videos to make decisions,” he voiced.

The vlogger maintained that they are pushing a “false narrative” even though they know public opinion has no sway in court, and that “If the likkle Youtuber words mattered in court, all a the clansman dem…would a still innah prison.”

“Are they saying that the likkle YouTuber and the PIA movement is now mightier than every deejay, every influencer, every vlogger, combined?” asked Sir P.

After comparing the case to several other high-profile cases in Jamaica including the x-6 case, Klansman’s case, Noel Maitland’s case, and Joylan Silvera’s case, Sir P stated, “A desperation cause this.” The controversial vlogger also said that he will be writing Shawn Storm an apology soon.

Additionally, the deejay’s family has shared that they do not have sufficient funds to facilitate a retrial in a justice system that has been described as unjust.

On the other hand, The Court of Appeal rejected an affidavit from Kartel‘s son that argued that the 48-year-old deejay who has been in lockup for over 13 years now would not be able to stand another trial due to his failing health.

Court proceedings with regard to the pre-trial hearing are expected to continue until this Friday to decide whether or not the matter will go on to another trial.

According to the prosecution, Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was murdered at a property in Havendale St. Andrew on August 16, 2011. Vybz Kartel and the other three previously convicted men are being blamed for the killing.
