Spice And Alkaline Confirmed For Reggae Sumfest 2022

With Shenseea, Skeng, Ding Dong, Laa lee, Aidonia, Govana, Shaneil Muir, Sizzla, Yaksta, Nation Boss, Intence, Dexta Daps and Jada Kingdom confirmed for this year’s Summer staging of Reggae Sumfest, the newest additions are, the vendetta boss, the man himself Alkaline and the queen od the dancehall Spice.

There were wide speculations about whether or not Spice will perform at Sumfest this year after she mentioned on a live chat that she raised her price to perform on Josef Bogdanovich. According to Spice, she reminded Joe that inflation is on the rise since he last booked her for the event in 2020. But, due to a surge in the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was postponed.

To put the speculations to bed, the announcements were made hours ago via Sumfest’s social media page as seen below.
