Sting 2023 Ends with Massive Brawl Between Fully Bad and Honormasity – Watch Video
Sting 2023 ended in a massive brawl, with Fully Bad’s lyrical confrontation with Kyodi turning into a physical one with Honormasity.
Sting 2022 ended less than satisfactorily, with several artistes unable to perform their full set on stage and scrabbling for time on the microphone. Following its poor conclusion, its founder, Isaiah Laing, promised a significantly better-organised return for 2023, with the promise of dancehall’s giants headlining the show.
Though Sting secured veterans such as Bounty Killer and Capleton, it was dancehall’s young guns who were scheduled to close the event with a highly anticipated clash. While dancehall fans had originally hoped for a showdown between Demarco, Fully Bad, and Kyodi, Demarco announced that he would not be attending Sting as his monetary demands had not been met.
Demarco expressed his confidence that Fully Bad would come out on top, but with the police seemingly ready to call the event to a close, Fully Bad almost missed his opportunity to take to the stage to show his lyrical prowess. After pleas from the event’s emcee, Fully Bad took the mic, and performed a few before Kyodi made his entrance.
Both artistes proceeded to trade lyrical shots while touting themselves as the greatest and declaring their superiority over the other. As Fully Bad tried to unleash on Kyodi in the middle of the clash, the deejay was interrupted by Honormasity, who unexpectedly stepped to the front of the stage to perform.
After being stopped by a visibly confused Fully Bad, Honormasity hit the artiste, initiating the fight that would draw Sting to a close. Following a quick trade of blows between the artistes, a member of Fully Bad’s entourage shoved Honormasity off the stage, which seemingly caused Fully Bad to fall.
As the deejays continued to trade blows below, chaos erupted, with patrons fleeing for safety. In addition to the artistes, more men became entangled in the fight, and security forces rushed to end the brawl, apprehending both Fully Bad and Honormasity.
