Notably, Valiant released ‘Beer & Salt’ three months ago in which he called out artistes for linking his friend Dj Mac to find a “hit song”. With the fact that Teejay was not so hot prior to working with Dj Mac to produce ‘Drift’ hit song, Teejay and the dancehall community believes Valiant was taking a subliminal shot at the Uptop Boss.

Teejay brougth up the line from the song in his recent interview which sparked reactions from Valiant online. Following the interview, both artistes went back and forth in their Instagram stories before ultimately previewing a diss track for each other.

Accordsing to Teejay, his song ‘Drift’ started the feud, he proceeded to take shots at Valiant and his DJ. Roemich also picked up shots from the lyrical diss as Teejay called out the “fat managa bwoy”.
