Jamaican Constable Shayon Francis emerged victorious in the Carry Optics Division at the Florida State Championship. Francis represented Jamaica and secured first place in the annual competition, marking Jamaica’s first win.
Francis competed in the “Lady Category” and outperformed her fellow competitors.
The sharpshooter earned a gold medal for her remarkable “precision and skill,” this is the praise she garnered from the Jamaica Constabulary Force as the announcement of her victory was made online.
The news was shared on social media with a video showcasing her dexterity with a handgun as she quickly navigated the course and opened fire at the targets.
