Triple Shooting Rocks Spanish Town With One Dead

Tuesday marked quite a bloody day in Spanish Town St. Catherine, as a triple shooting was recorded in the area of Featherbed Lane at the location of a shop that left one person dead.
According to the reports coming from the Jamaica Observer, at approximately 9:00 Pm gunmen were seen in pursuit of a man, eventually ending up in the shop where a 58-year-old man by the name of Desmond Beckford was at the time.
The situation is said to have continued with Beckford, the man who ran inside the shop, and another man on the outside of the building getting shot.
The Police were alerted by residents of the community to what had taken place at the shop, after which the 3 men were found at the location riddled with gunshot wounds.
They were rushed to the hospital where Beckford who was a labourer of a Martin Street, Spanish Town address, was pronounced dead, and the other men were admitted to care for their injuries.
