According to reporters, the social media platform Twitter has been experiencing disruptions in services over the weekend which led to the platform restricting its users. Verified, Unverified and New unverified accounts are all facing limitations currently.

On Saturday, Elon Musk took to the platform to inform users that limitations are put in place “To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation,” he went on to outline that the limits will be “temporary”.

The limit to how many tweets a user can read or view per day was initially at 6,000 for verified, 600 for unverified and 300 for new unverified.

The latest tweet from Musk on the matter states that the limits have increased to 10,000 for verified, 1,000 for unverified and 500 for new unverified.
