UPDATE: Shocking Details on How 8yo ‘Talia Thompson’ was Raped and Killed plus Crazy Suicide Attempts
Commanding officer for the division, Senior Superintendent of Police Dwight Powell has given some updates on the gruesome incident surrounding the rape and murder of 8-year-old Talia Thompson on Saturday in Discovery Bay, St. anns.

According to the initial report, Thompson was raped and fatally stabbed minutes after 3 PM on Saturday after being lured to a house by the suspect.
In the latest update, the police reveal that Thompson was left at a neighbour’s house where she was taken from by a family friend.
The suspect, a 27-year-old male was arrested, the police reported that the estranged man tried to commit suicide after committing the murder.
