Vehicle Overturns on Flat Bridge, Plunges into Rio Cobre River – Aftermath Footage
Feared to many for its dangerous path, a vehicle travelling along the notorious Flat Bridge in St. Catherine reportedly overturned and plunged into the Rio Cobre River on Sunday afternoon.
Based on differing videos being circulated, one shows a wrecker pulling a brown pickup van from the deep brown water. Another footage also showed a group of persons swimming in the water who are said to be rescue divers.

Meanwhile, one of the videographers stated that the driver may have panicked while driving, resulting in the accident. He also claimed to see the man’s lifeless body inside the vehicle, “Weh yuh mean how me know him dead, the man stiff right deh so,” he said to another in the background.
Since the incident, there have been conflicting reports on the matter. No concrete evidence has been provided to confirm if any fatality resulted from the accident.
