However, the Government of Bermuda refuted the claims, that the artiste was denied entry into the country as a tourist, even though his concert was cancelled.

The BDA Summer Music Festival at Snorkel Park in Dockyard was cancelled, and the work permit was rendered invalid at the last minute and these allegations were made by the “Inna Real Life” DJ’s management team. Vershon was turned away from the LF Wade International Airport.

The artiste is a brand ambassador for Reggae/ Dancehall music had a the necessary documents and no one knows why the Government allegedly denied his entry into their country, even though they have the right to do that.

“Even his right to enter the island as a tourist was denied”, said his publicist, Shuzzr Smith in a press release.
Bermuda’s National Security Minister, Wayne Caine has rubbished the claims, he states that Vershon didn’t even travel to Bermuda last week. He did checks and then reported that three Jamaicans had arrived on the island without valid permits and they were, allowed to enter the island as Tourists. However, there was no mention of a Kemar Brown or Vershon.

He also said, “Vershon’s name did not appear on the flights manifests to the island on the day that it is alleged that he was there.

“I am disappointed that they have allowed both international and local media to misplace blame on Bermuda and the hardworking people at the Department of Immigration” Caine said as he spoke with the Royal Gazette Newspaper.
