Vybz Kartel Pictures Surface

These photos were shared online months ago, however, they did not go viral online like most surfaced photos of incarcerated dancehall artiste Adidja Azim Palmer aka Vybz Kartel do, maybe because of the heavy filter and or the accounts the pictures were shared on.

At least one of the photos, based on a check, was seemingly initially shared on January 7, 2024, by TellDemTurbo on Instagram in celebration of Vybz Kartel’s 48th birthday. The photo was captioned, “One world boss Gaza/boss #vybzkartel one more year pon the pussy dem #48 power at law.”

The statement concluded, “blessing pon you earthquake strong a make the earth shake a cause earthquake, long life the king 👑🐐longest liver see the most 🍾🥂🥇🏆@vybzkartel.” It’s believed that the photos were taken not so long ago in a local penal institution.

Another photo along with a statement was shared on Instagram in February by TellDemTurbo, right before Palmer’s Appeal at the UK Privy Council.

Notably, Turbo also reshared the first photo to his Instagram story on May 22/23, tagging the record label page for T100 Records, one of Vybz Kartel‘s IG pages and Yardhype. Turbo also made sure to tag the popular song he produced with Vybz Kartel titled ‘Tony Montanna‘.

Significantly, both Vybz Kartel and Turbo follow each other on Instagram, hence the authenticity of the photo is not in question, furthermore, Vybz Kartel also commented on one of the photos, that was wishing him happy birthday.

Last week, the lawyers representing Vybz Kartel and co-accused Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell and Andre St John took legal action by filing a habeas corpus application in the Supreme Court, aiming for their release from custody.

The Jamaica Court of Appeal recently scheduled a hearing to consider the possibility of ordering a retrial for the accused men. The hearing will start on the 10th of June 2024.
