The King of Dancehall Vybz Kartel is well known for his accolades in the genre over the years and is one to boldly show his accomplishments however, the entertainer is not one for total selfishness as he usually gives those persons their flowers who truly deserve it.
Recently the “Teacha”, highlighted the top 5 artistes with the highest YouTube views of all time, and that list included some of the most prolific names, but even that could not stop a shade by the “Gaza” general.
In the number 1 position based on the data that Kartel gave is Sean Paul with a total of 2.1 Billion views, Shaggy followed with 1.3 Billion views, VP records with 1.2 Billion views, Bob Marley with 1 Billion views, and Vybz Kartel himself with 1 Billion.
As a way to congratulate the entertainers and the label for their immaculate performance, Vybz Kartel posted their pictures on his story post however, in the series of posts he left off Sean Paul which seems very controversial but somewhat expected.
The reason why something of that sort would have been expected is based on the fact that the “Gazanation” leader never forgets his beef and he might just have felt offended in the past when the “Dutty Rock” artiste spoke about his appeal in an interview some time ago, playing it off as not being important socially or culturally, further stating that his father went through an appeal and only his family cared.
So in reflection of the comments made by Sean Paul, it might just be the reason why Vybz Kartel decided not to have a picture of the entertainer on showcase even though photos could be easily downloaded from Google.
Will this spark a response from Sean? We will just have to wait and see but a beef between the “Worl Boss”, and the “Gimme Di Light” artiste would be a next-level Dancehall confrontation.
