Interestingly, dancehall artiste Spice released a music video entitled Queen of the Dancehall hours ago, which is three weeks since Ninjaman has been proclaiming Tallup as the new Queen of the genre.
The incarcerated veteran made multiple posts about singjay Tallup dethroning Spice, who did not respond. Now, it seems like the 40-year-old artiste is showing everyone that she still wears the crown, which is how the music video begins.
Spice is spotted at the beginning of the video, putting on her crown, and the camera flashes to male and female dancers. There is also a party scene where many people are gyrating. From singing and dancing at the party to sitting on big chairs surrounded by servants, Spice pops up in various vibrant blue outfits.
In the lyrics, she outlines the different aspects of a Jamaican rave and emphasises that she is the Queen of Dancehall and her man’s heart. “Di Queen back pan di throne, cudda neva be dethrone,” she deejays.
The video, posted over 2 hours ago, has received 16K views and over 3.6K likes. Fans have been expressing their admiration for the song and agreeing that she is indeed the Queen.
One viewer wrote, “Big up to the queen of dancehall!! Spice is multitalented! Big up the choreographers! Love the riddim, brought me back to the good old dayz of dancehall ❤🎶😍🇯🇲🙌🏾.” Another viewer said, “Authentic as always.go through queen.”
