24-year-old Ballon d’Or candidate Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior who is more commonly known as Vinícius Júnior or Vini Jr. scored a hat-trick on Tuesday in Real Madrid’s latest match, played against Borussia Dortmund in the league stage of the UEFA Champions League. ·
The pick of the three goals was scored in the 86th minute of the match, after he got the ball in his half and ran to Dortmund’s goal, managing to outclass multiple defenders in the process before slotting the ball to the left of the goalkeeper.
Dortmund had a two-goal lead in the 34th minute, however, five goals in the second half from the Spanish team caused the game to end 5-2. The match was played inside the Santiago Bernabeu located in Madrid, Spain.
