“Love will make you do crazy things,” said an emotional Will Smith after giving fellow comedian and actor Chris Rock a slap in the face.
As for the slap in the face, no one saw it coming, after Chris Rock gave a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Will took to the stage, at first no one knew what to expect as Will approached the stage and Chris Rock.
Chris said, “Oh Oh” as Will approached, Smith then processed to give Chris a heavy slap to the face then turned and walked away, while Chris did not retaliate, he followed up with another joke saying that the incident might have prompted the “greatest night in the history of television”.
Chris Rock was presenting the award for ‘Best Documentary’ at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday when the assault took place.
