Whitmore CONFIDANT in Boyz vs Honduras TONIGHT

Jamaica’s Men National Football Team is set to tackle Honduras tonight in their latest match of the Concacaf Worldcup Qualifiers. Both teams are looking for their first win of the campaign with Jamaica in 8th place on Just two points and Honduras in 7th place with three points.

The Reggae Boyz had a rocky October plagued by injuries and Travell restrictions on key players.

Despite the poor start to the campaign, head coach Whitmore says that the team’s first clean sheet on Sunday vs Canada represented a shift in the right direction when looking back at previous matches.

The optimistic coach stated, “I think these players go out there and give their all. There are some areas that we need to work on. We wanted to stop teams from scoring on us and I think that we achieved that (on Sunday). I think it’s something that we can build on from start, stop bleeding (goals) and look to convert at the other end.”

With that said, The Reggae Boyz has never won a football game in Honduras.

The match is set to kick off at 7:05PM, Jamaica time, tonight.
