Woman Shocked at $830K Invoice from ATL “for engine oil service” and Fix Sound in Front End

A Jamaican woman who goes by the name ‘Demigod’ is feeling some type of way after taking her vehicle to ATL Autobahn for an engine oil change and to fix a “clunking sound in my front end”.
The disgruntled female took to X on Tuesday, creating a poll and asking everyone what they believed was the estimate for her worries. “How much do you think the invoice will be?” she asked.
While 37% of the voters who participated in the poll suggested that the issues would cost around 250k to 500k to fix, however, to many people’s surprise, the female was invoiced over 800k. The vehicle is said to be a BMW x3. The post has been making rounds on X with over 85k views as shown above in the screenshot.
Reacting to the question/poll, one person on X commented, “I need a figure because I want to believe it’s less than $200,000 but in my heart of hearts I know it is not.” Another person stated, “My cousin 2019 BMW X1 has been parked at ATL for the pass 2 weeks already cost here 300k for battery replacement that seems like an electrical problem.”
“They had the audacity to quote me JMD$830,823.25,” Demigod stated in a follow-up tweet, she also provided a breaking down of the expenses. Parts would take up the bulk of the expenses with a figure of $552, 500 while labour would be the second highest expense on the bill, costing $150, 000.
In reaction to the figures, one person stated, “My mechanic woulda knock this out fi $10,000,” another said, “Then nuh used car money this.”
