Shortly after 8 Am Friday morning, most parishes including Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Thomas, Portland, St Mary, St. Ann, St Catherine, St James, Manchester etc felt what turned out to be a 4.5 magnitude earthquake.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the centre of the quake was approximately 10km NNE of Stony Hill in St. Andrew.
