It’s back to business again as Chris Rock, after being slapped by Will Smith, is seen for the first time in Boston, no doubt preparing himself for his six upcoming shows that are all sold out before he goes off on his Ego Death World Tour.

Rock was spotted Tuesday and captured in a series of pictures that shows the comedian wearing a dark cap, a white shirt under a blue jacket paired with grey sweatpants, and ultimately looking impassive with his head held down.

While the world is still buzzing about what happened at the Oscars on Sunday, the 57-year-old comedian was not only receiving the prying eyes of the press, he was also receiving a lot of sales for his upcoming shows.

The tickets for his Boston show for Wednesday night on Monday were only a little over $100, but now that price has gone up ten times higher.

According to an NBC Boston report, Rock checked into the Ritz Carlton ahead of his 6 shows at The Wilbur Theatre. This will be his first public appearance since the incident and the tickets are being sold on the resale market for as high as $1,200. While to sit at the back of the theatre, which is the furthest seat from the stage, costs $720.

More reports from the ticket marketplace TickPick stated that since the Oscars mayhem, sales skyrocketed for “Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour 2022” which starts April 2.

Also, the outlet for the Boston shows reported that tickets are priced at $125 and some even higher at $1,350.

With a very busy week, Rock has two shows scheduled Wednesday, two on Thursday, two on Friday and then the “Saturday Night Live” alum has scheduled appearances in Atlantic City and California.
