Mr. Vegas Believes ‘I Am Bless’ is The “Greatest Dancehall song of all time”
Dancehall veteran Mr. Vegas has expressed that his 2009 Dancehall Gospel hit song I Am Blessed should be acknowledged as the greatest song ever created in Dancehall history.
The deejay, born Clifford Smith, shared his thoughts in a post on Sunday, which featured a video that shows the impact of his track.
In the video, a large audience is belting out the lyrics of the song, and patrons can be seen dancing. At one point the music breaks, allowing the patrons to sing a capella.
Additionally, Mr. Vegas wrote in the caption, “It is time to name this the greatest dancehall song of all time.” Notably, the Kingston native made the post at 11:02 a.m. on X.

I Am Blessed, produced by Carleene Samuels, is one of Mr. Vegas’ most famous songs. The deejay, who is in his late 40s, released the Jay Will-directed music video for I Am Blessed on March 24, 2009, on YouTube.
The music video has since amassed more than 10 million views and over 57,000 likes.
Also, I Am Blessed has racked up more than 9 million streams on Spotify.
