Body Of Missing Kingston Wharves Employee Found At Sea

Scott Bamburry, 39, the stevedore employed to the Kingston Wharves Limited has reportedly been found at sea by divers after he went missing on the night of Tuesday, July 12 after falling overboard a vessel while working.

The Coast Guard, Marine Police, and private personnel from the company have been engaged in rescue operations since the unfortunate incident.

The Clarendon native rose to fame in 2021 when he appeared in the media appealing for a job in the shipping industry. Bamburry had a Diploma in International Shipping and Logistics from the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU) in 2008 but had been working as a car washer for several years.

Kingston Wharves Limited has not yet released a statement, however, further information will be provided on the development.
