Musical reggae artiste Bugle has lost his mother after she had been battling cancer for some time. His mother, who was ill for some time, was hospitalized at the University Hospital of The West Indies (UHWI).

She died on Wednesday afternoon.
Bugle has since been distressed as he grieves his mother. The passing of his mother happens weeks before his live showcase on June 23 at Exit with singer Tanya Stephens. Bugle, whose given name is Roy Thompson is also scheduled to leave the island for several international projects.
