Four Alleged Gunmen Killed In Central Village

Four alleged gunmen have reportedly been killed by St. Catherine Police, in the area of Central Village located in the parish, during an operation.
According to the Jamaica Observer Online who spoke with Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips, who is the commanding officer for the southern division of St. Catherine, he has given information pointing to the validity of the incident.
Based on the report given by SSP Phillips, the interaction with the Police and the gunmen occurred very early in the morning when it is said that a face-off ensued between the men and the officers that featured gunfire.
It is understood that four men were killed in the exchange of gunfire after which the scene was searched and guns were recovered.
Even though additional details on the matter have not been released, the Police are currently on the scene of the incident carrying out investigations.
