Kanye West Banned From Performing At The Grammy Awards

In recent times, Kanye “Ye” West has been on a social media rampage against all those associated with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, her boyfriend, Pete Davidson and since this week, he has reaped the consequences of his actions.

According to close sources of Kanye, his team received a phone call informing them that the Grammy Awards had removed him from the line-up to perform for the show. It is alleged that the reason for this is because of the artiste’s “concerning online behaviour” and due to the fact that his recent online attack was a racial one aimed at Trevor Noah, who will be hosting the Grammys.

His actions also got him banned from Instagram for 24 hours after violating the company’s guidelines and policies.

Since the ban to perform at the Grammys, The Game who had done a song with Ye recently called “Eazy” has been the most vocal about the decision and he has publicly blasted the show by posting on his Instagram page. A section from his post as it relates to his support for Ye, “Time & time again they show us that they only want to STEAL the culture, not allow you to ever be their equals”.

Nonetheless, the Grammys announced earlier in the week that the performers slated for the upcoming show are: Billie Eilish, BTS, Lil’ Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, and Jack Harlow.
