Man Caught On Camera Trying To Rape 17-Year-Old Girl In Public

A video recently went viral on World Star Hip Hop showing a man captured by way of a surveillance camera attacking a 17-year-old girl in close vicinity of a South San Jose School in broad daylight.

The incident was said to have taken place on March 24th sometime after 3 pm, on Steinbeck drive, located close to Steinbeck Elementary School in an area referred to as Allen. According to the reports given by the World Star hip hop website, the man was detained a little after the incident and the female was said to be ok, by her Grandmother.

Based on what was shown in the surveillance footage, the man pursued the girl until they were close to a fence where he then pushed and dragged her onto the ground during a wrestle.

It was during the tussle with the man that the female seemed to have screamed out and alerted passersby who turned their attention to what was taking place, causing the man to walk away from the scene. This report was given by Officer Steve Aponte, a San Jose Police officer who also made it clear that the persons who were alerted to the incident might have actually caused a rape not to occur.

The man identified in relation to the incident is 38-year-old Jamal Boykin who was detained in relation to the incident and slapped with attempted rape and assault charges without bail.
