Mark Golding Reveals He’s a UK Citizen: Mr. Vegas Says “time for the King’s boy to step aside!”

Veteran dancehall entertainer Mr. Vegas has been calling out the leader of the opposition, Mark Golding to reveal whether or not he’s a dual citizen of Jamaica and the UK. After much hesitation, Mark Golding has finally disclosed that he’s a Jamaican citizen and also a UK citizen.

“I am a Jamaican citizen by birth. I am also a UK citizen by descent. I have not renounced my British citizenship as it is not legally necessary for me to do so,” Golding told The Gleaner. Days ago, Golding stated, “The local government elections and recent polls seem to be driving some to grasp at straws.”

In reaction to the news, Mr. Vegas took to social media on Monday and commented, “Mark Golding caved!” The outspoken ‘Heads High‘ entertainer also called out Damion Crawford and said, “It’s your time now! It’s time for the King’s boy to step aside!”

One comment that stood out amongst the lot, is one that reads, “The man has NOT renounced his British citizenship, he remains a servant of Charles yet he wants to lead us, psssh,” made by a user on X.
