Shawn Storm Remembers How He Smiled When He Got His Sentencing On This Day

Prominent deejay in the Gazanation camp Shawn Storm is today reminiscing on the fact that this was the day he was sentenced to 25 years to prison before parole, and as expected speaking about such a thing must have been a very emotional moment.
The person who the deejay has controlling his social media account wrote about the moment in an Instagram post where a snippet from ‘Siva’s’ track entitled “Fear No Evil” off his “From The Core EP” was played, with a photo of him exiting the court after his sentencing. That moment would have been a traumatic one for many persons however, it did not seem to not have troubled Shawn Storm too badly as he could be seen in the picture smiling.
In the caption of the post the entertainer, whose real name is Shawn Campbell wrote “This was the day I was sentence to 25 yrs before parole, I smiled because”, then he proceeded to drop a line in the post from “Fear No Evil” that goes “wen Life get di best a wi sing a sweet Melody”.
Shawn Storm, his dear friend and boss Vybz Kartel along with Kahira Jones and Andre St. John were all convicted for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
Where conviction time is concerned, Campbell and Jones received a 25-year sentence that was reduced to 22 years and 6 months before parole after the appeal, while the ‘Teacha’ received 35 years which was reduced to 32 years and 6 months before parole, and St. John 30 years before parole, which was also decreased by 2 years and 6 months.
Regardless of being incarcerated, Shawn Storm has still been releasing songs to the point where he now has his Extended Play project out, featuring songs like “Fear No Evil” as earlier mentioned, “Reggae Play”, ” Gimi A Light” and “Tyad Fi Lie”.
The EP is produced by Kwashawna Records and has a reggae theme to it that is also displayed in the design of the Album artwork that is coated with the colours red, green and gold.
