The Royal British couple, Prince William And his wife, Duchess of Cambridge Kate, will be visiting the island in March as a part of a Caribbean tour to mark the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
Although the royal couple has not made a release about their visit, sources from the Gleaner have confirmed the couple’s upcoming visit.
Last November, Prince Charles, who is the heir to the throne, visited Barbados to attend a ceremony that represented the country cutting ties to the British Monarch and becoming a republic.
That said, Prince William And the Duchess will be making their visit months before Jamaica’s 60th independence anniversary.
Over the years, Prince Charles visited Jamaica in 2000 and 2008, whereas Prince Henry visited in 2012.
