Two Dead, Child Abducted and Multiple Injured By Gunmen In Duncans, Trelawny

A string of devastating tragic events occurred this morning in the community of Spicy Hill in Duncans, Trelawny.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., it is reported that gunmen went to the community and killed 21-year-old Teka Ennis who is from Boston, United States and Refuge, Trelawny and abducted her four-year-old daughter. The four-year-old has reportedly been found.

Additionally, a woman and a man were also victims of this gruesome attack. The woman sustained gunshot injuries and is currently in critical condition while being treated at the hospital. The man, however, was grazed in the incident and was treated at the hospital.

Law enforcement officers believe that these attacks stem from a murder that happened earlier in the morning at approximately 1 a.m. The deceased is 38-year-old Iron “Conny G” Jarrett who was shot and killed by gunmen in a nearby community and is said to be the relative of a gang member in the parish.

Superintendent Carlos Russell, Head of the Trelawny Police Division is reportedly with a team in the area searching for the gunmen.
