17-Y-O Among 2 Killed by Police During Reported Shootout
Reports are that two pistols were seized after two males were shot and killed by lawmen at Kennedy Lane, Gordon Town, St. Catherine.
Dead are seventeen-year-old Tiwayne Cunningham and thirty-year-old Cleon Rowe. Bother men were found with gunshot wounds in a building after the shootout.
The shooting took place at about 8:15 a.m. on Saturday as the police carried out an operation in the community. According to the police, they were first greeted with gunfire and as a result, they returned gunfire.
The deadly shooting incident is currently being investigated by the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB).
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is also investigating the matter.
