Police Release Photo of Wanted Woman and Video Footage in Danielle Rowe Murder Investigation
The police have released an image of a woman who is believed to have information regarding the death of Danielle Rowe. The 8-year-old primary school student was captured on camera with the woman on Roosevelt Avenue in St. Andrew, where she was later discovered with her throat cut.
The police used Electronic Facial Identification technology to develop the portrait from the footage. The image has been made public as the police seek assistance in locating the woman.
When discussing the CCTV footage with Nationwide News, Deputy Police Commissioner in Charge of Crime and Security Fitz Bailey revealed that witnesses have corroborated that the person in the photograph resembles the one who took Danielle from the school.
Last Thursday, Danielle was kidnapped from Braeton Primary and Infant School in Portmore, St. Catherine. Danielle was found with her throat slashed and rushed to the hospital, where she died following surgery on Saturday.
