Country reggae recording artiste Wesrok has released his collaboration with Busy Signal called ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’. The single produced under 360 Entertainment Label has been receiving great reception from local and international media. To add to this success, Wesrok received his plaque from iTunes commemorating his #1 position on the iTunes Reggae Chart for the week of October 15, 2021, for ‘Try to Hold Me’ featuring Masicka.
Wesrok met Busy Signal through their mutual friend and producer, Troyton, at Big Yard Studio back in 2023. “I was vibing to the track with Troyton and Busy Signal entered the studio. He loved the track and decided to work with me on it”, shared Wesrok. ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’ exudes positivity and speaks to the way of the world.
He added, “The song is about the world in general, and the way people treat each other. I’m sending a message to different classes and races, to share love and to appreciate each other more for who we are, because it’s just one world”.
Wesrok, who was recently in Nashville, USA promoting his music, has been making strides with several shows lined up in Dubai, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji to name a few. He is also slated to release projects with multi-award-winning international songwriter Leslie Bowe, based in Nashville and renowned American reggae band Big Mountain.
“After seeing the success of ‘Try to Hold Me’ with Masicka and now, ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’ with Busy Signal, I am eager to see the results of my other collaborations as well as some lighthearted singles I intend on releasing this year”, said Wesrok.
With positivity at the forefront, Wesrok is on the promotional trail and is aiming for international
recognition in the music industry with the release of an EP in late March. Wesrok can be followed on Facebook, Instagram @WesrokMusic and X @Wesrok876.
