Cham Proposes to Girlfriend: See Photo & Video

Following a series of posts featuring an unnamed mystery woman, Cham appears to have popped the question. The Dancehall artiste shared a photo on Monday from what appears to be his engagement.
Cham’s romance has come as a surprise to many fans, who knew that he was married to Ophelia Beckett for several years. Professionally known as O, Ophelia appeared alongside Cham on tracks such as Tun Up and Wine.
In the photo shared on his Instagram page, Cham can be seen on bended knee with an engagement ring in front of a sign framed in roses that asked, “Will you marry me?” His partner’s face was cleverly covered by a glare of light.
Captioning the photo, Cham wrote, “You My Love You My Life, You My Wrong You My Right, You My Dark You My Light, ❤️ From Day 1 You Have Never Ever Let Me Down ❤️💫.”
The ‘Ghetto Story’ deejay has since received congratulations from his fans and supporters, but some social media users are speculating that it may be for an upcoming music video. Fans are not the only ones who have expressed surprise, with Cham’s fellow artiste and friend Spice also expressing shock.
“A weh the bl**dcl**t this!!!!! You never talk to me about this!!!! So a who this ago Married to my BabyFada 😳😳😳,” Spice joked, making reference to her ex’s accusations that Cham fathered their first child.
Cham has been sharing photos and videos of his mystery woman online with her face hidden by emojis and in November said that he was falling in love all over again. Prior to his Instagram post today, Cham shared a video a day earlier, during which he asked his fans if they think that marriage is necessary.
