The iconic American singer Beyoncé will be going on tour this year with her 2022 floor-filler Renaissance album. Queen Bey made the announcement via social media, accompanied by a photograph of herself straddling a silver horse, similar to the album’s cover.
The news of her tour, after her comeback performance in Dubai, sent her “bee hive” fans worldwide into a frenzy, and she quickly started trending on Twitter.
The picture of Queen Bey showed her rocking a silver, disco ball-looking cowgirl hat and a unique transparent garment bedazzled with silver studs. As she hid her eyes with the hat that was tipped forward, most of her upper legs, abdomen, and breasts were visible. Her feet were adorned in silver cowboy boots with tassels hanging from where the shoes stopped just above her knee.
On Instagram, the post, which only consists of the words “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023,” has amassed over 3,154,865 likes and over 80,048 comments from excited fans since it was posted some hours ago.
While many fans requested that she include Brazil in the tour, one fan noted, “I will sell my kidney to afford these damn tickets.”
Meanwhile, fans on Twitter reacted to the news with memes showing how they felt and whether or not they could afford the tickets.
According to Capital Xtra, the 41-year-old singer has been “booking stadiums around the world for the summer of 2023” to take the stage with her hit album. Top-charting songs from the album include Cuff It and Break My Soul.
