Chief R. Currie Issues Statement About Fatal Accompong Shooting

One day after the tragic news that there was a fatal shooting at the Maroon celebrations in St. Elizabeth, the leader of the Maroons in Accompong, Chief R. Currie issues a statement about the incident on social media.
According to Currie, Maroons are “disheartened” and “shocked” over what unfolded on Thursday night. He went on to explain that he was not at the location where the shooting took place when it happened, however, he highlights that he was in the “same location” of the shooting just minutes before it took place.
