I Waata Says “Sorry” To Pretty Pretty

Dancehall artiste I Waata has released a public apology to his ex-girlfriend, Pretty Pretty on Instagram Tuesday, February 1st. The Instagram post he made was a repost of a video Pretty Pretty made of herself, however, I Waata added the song ‘Why I Love You’ by Major in the video.
His caption was short, saying, “things do happen in life, but that’s no excuse for me as a man. I’m sorry Mimi”. He ended his caption with sad emojis, “#mywholeheart” and a heart emoji.
Check out his post below.
Pretty Pretty (Mimi as he calls her) has not made an official response to his apology. Coincidentally, an Instagram Story she made recently had the words “I never know being popular was so hard and sad at times. SMH”.
The breakup between the dancer/dancehall artiste, Pretty Pretty, and I Waata happened sometime in December 2020 when an image surfaced on social media revealing I Waata with his son and baby mother.
This came as a shock to everyone, including Pretty Pretty who was apparently unaware of his infidelity, and she disappeared from social media for some time. I Waata had released a public apology to her, expressing his regret for hurting her and the love he has for her.
When Pretty Pretty came back on social media, she did not acknowledge her ex-boyfriend’s apology, she only spoke about the mean comments she had gotten regarding her silence and ghosting the internet.
She told everyone that she is changing over her life and learning to love and forgive.
