Leon Bailey Scores twice Today… Now has 7 Goals and 5 Assists

Leverkusen coach Bosz said that Leon is getting better with each game and that he is quite pleased to see such improvement in the 23-year-old Jamaicans’ game.
Despite the issues surrounding his adopted father and brother, Craig Butler and Kyle Butler respectively, Bailey has still managed to stay focus on football.
Bailey has been vitally important in Bayer Leverkusen’s impressive unbeaten streak. So far this Bundesliga campaign, they are currently 2nd place just a point behind the mighty Bavarian club, Bayern Munich.
Leon “Chippy” Bailey had a slow start to this season as he went on vacation in Jamaica to celebrate the birthday of Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt, who he is close friends with, however, Leon was placed on two-weeks quarantine for observation after reports that he visited the island and engaged in a social event.
The Leverkusen board was uncertain about keeping him at the start of the season however consistent injuries and poor form did not help his causes at all.
At the beginning of the season, Bosz spoke on preparing the team with the Jamaican winger being given an important role.

Someone needed to step up when the likes of Volland and Havertz moved to Monaco and Chelsea respectively. Bailey, Wirtz, Diaby and Alairo have stepped up big time and results show in their impressive unbeaten run over 10 domestic league matches so far this season.
Bailey and Bosz now seem like a workable partnership, the coach can trust the winger to run hard, score and create chances. It’s early times in the season thus far however Bailey is proving that he can contribute a lot to the team playing in a focal role in Bayer’s offensive department this season as well for the future.
The rapid and magical winger is also doing well in the Europa League, Scoring twice today vs. Slavia Prague. He also recently got two assists in a game against Nice, the game ended 6-2 with Bayer Leverkusen as run away victors.
Already this season Bailey hit the onion bag 7 times and copped 5 assists, making him the highest contributor in the team.
Overall Leon Patrick Bailey attributes the maturity that he now displays to the birth of his son “Leo Christiano Bailey” sure sounds like the name of a future star, not only that but the name he chose sounds like the names of Leonel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo but the Jamaican star says that Leo is from his first name while the Christiano he thinks just goes together perfectly with Leo.
