Missing 10-year-old Discovered Raped and Murdered in Hanover
In a developing story by the Jamaica Gleaner on their Instagram account, a 10-year-old who has been identified as Nikita Noel was found unresponsive in the community of Kew in Lucea, Hanover, on Wednesday.
It has since been reported that, based upon statements given by the investigating officers, the child’s mother reported her missing after she could not be found after school’s dismissal earlier on Wednesday.
A search party was launched for the child, who is also known as “Jojo,” which also included police officers.
The body of the student from Esher Primary School was then found hours into the search, and it was discovered that she had been raped.
Upon further investigation of the youngster’s body, it was also discovered that she had been strangled.

It was also reported that the child is also a resident of the Kew District, where she was found dead. At the time of the report, the Lucea police were processing the scene of the crime to determine what took place in this gruesome act.
