Mixed Reactions to Rygin King’s Arrest “I hope he is not guilty,” “Some people never learn”

Rygin King is currently facing legal woes after being slapped with several Gun and ammo-related charges in New York. The deejay who was arrested on July 8 is yet to react to the situation via social media, however, Jamaicans have been saying a lot about the situation online.
Before the news was made official on Thursday, days prior, rumours were high that a Dancehall artiste was arrested in America. Squash’s mother via a video dispelled rumours that it was her son, telling the media that Squash was not arrested.
However, with the confirmation that Rygin King is the Dancehaller who had a run-in with the law, many Jamaicans are bashing the Montego Bay artiste for his ongoing gangster ways, while some others are a bit more sympathetic, hoping for the best for the deejay.
One Instagram user questioned, “How you cripple and under physio..but still want to be a gun slinger..?? Some body need to share the knowledge..please and thanks in advance.”

As per reports, the ‘Dancehall Trap King’ was found in possession of a loaded Palmetto State Armory 9mm firearm after a car that he was travelling in with several other individuals was pulled over by the police.
Rygin King whose birth name is Matthew Smith pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is expected to appear in court on Friday, July 12.
